The 2025 Hyundai Tucson arrives with a brand-new refresh that provides the compact SUV with new styling. Hyundai has updated the Tucson’s front grille and bumpers. There are also new 19-inch wheels. Inside, the 2025 Tucson sees a new dashboard layout with two displays. One serves as the digital instrument cluster and the other is the infotainment system. Owners can make use of driver-assist features as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Hyundai has also updated the steering wheel and gear selector moving it closer to the steering column.
In terms of performance, the current Hyundai Tucson offers a 2.5L four-cylinder engine that’s capable of 187 horsepower. This is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and either front or all-wheel drive. We haven’t received information about the refreshed Tucson but we do not expect too many performance upgrades. The compact SUV does offer hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions however which offer a bit more power due to their electric motor. Overall, the Hyundai Tucson proves to be versatile with its exceptional handling and refined driving experience.
For safety, the 2025 Tucson makes use of the Hyundai Smartsense safety suite. Included are advanced driver assist features like Smart Cruise Control, forward collision avoidance, and lane keep assist. There are also features like automatic emergency braking and blind spot monitoring to help keep drivers safe. With the latest updates, the Hyundai Tucson has a more modern aesthetic that reinforces its capability and versatility. While an official price has not yet been confirmed, we expect the 2025 Hyundai Tucson to start at an MSRP of around $29,000 (plus destination fee). Consumers can expect the 2025 Hyundai Tucson to become available near the end of 2024.
