Hyundai Partners With Samsung For Increased Driver Connectivity

Hyundai has partnered with Samsung to improve driver connectivity. Together, the two companies will increase vehicle connectivity allowing owners to pair their vehicles with home appliances for seamless use. Through this new expansion, owners will also have access to their vehicles from within their homes. Lately, Hyundai has been focusing on its EV efforts. The South Korean automaker debuted the all-new 2025 Ioniq 5N which offers impressive performance and capability. With new technology, it will also allow greater user connectivity. Hyundai To Offer Increased User Connectivity

Hyundai has entered a partnership with Samsung that will improve driver connectivity. Together the two companies will offer consumers increased compatibility between their vehicle and their home appliances. Owners will be able to remotely control their appliances via their infotainment system. They will also be able to control certain functions in their vehicle from inside their home using smartphone apps or smart televisions.

To better improve driver connectivity, Hyundai will use Samsung’s ‘SmartThings’ platform. The South Korean automaker will develop an infotainment system that can be paired with the digital platform to improve user connectivity. Owners will download over-the-air updates over time that help improve the software. These updates will also help EV owners as they will allow them to check their home and vehicle energy usage.

Thanks to Hyundai’s latest improvements, owners will have greater access to the smart technology they use daily. EVs like the all-new Ioniq 5N will provide owners with more in-depth knowledge of their energy usage.
